January 23, 2012 We have completed our first Special Publishing project. We can’t tell you much about it because it was a book that has the author’s own publishing company’s name. We can tell you that it is selling well and the author is delighted. We are also working on a Memoir / Scrapbook as a private publishing project. This is the memories and photos from the hikes of a man and his family. His daughter will be presenting it to her father on his 80th birthday. Progress on publishing our books to the Apple iBookstore for iPad/iBook is underway. All books have been submitted to our eBook aggregator, however they will be delayed until they have all been reviewed and approved by the aggregator. The aggregator also makes the eBooks available for Sony Reader, Kobo, and most e-reading apps including Stanza, Aldiko, and Adobe Digital Editions December 27, 2011 We welcome K K Corner’s The Gawky Giraffe on Kindle and Nook. While his print book is still published by another company, we are able to provide it as an eBook. December 21, 2011 We have completed putting all of our books on Amazon’s Kindle and have all but one available on Barnes and Noble’s Nook. Visit our Kindle and Nook Book Stores to get links directly to these great books. Malinda Mitchell’s book, Little Miss Dilly Dot is now available in print again. May 10, 2010 On Monday, May 10, 2010 Author Susan Wigden visited Public School 11 and read aloud her imaginative book, “Suppose at The Supermarket” to students in Pre-K through Grade 2. She shared her experiences writing her recently published novel, “Chapter Two: The Magic in Baseball” with students in Grades 3 through 5. It was an exciting and interactive experience, as students answered Wigden’s questions about the books’ themes and went on stage to act out the story. Wigden taught the students valuable lessons such as how to build resiliency. She explained that it took several years to get her books published but she never gave up. Wigden told Principal Erica Mattera how impressed she was with the students’ participation and cooperativeness. Wigden has worked with young children for over two decades and travels around the country sharing her books. April 19, 2010 Staten Island, NY school I.S. 75 will be offering their 6, 7, and 8th grade students Chapter two: The Magic in Baseball as part of their bonus summer reading program. April 12, 2010 Susan Wigden has so many events coming up that we have provided a page where you can see them all including the latest additions. It is at Author Events / Wigden Events. She has written this book to help beginning teachers learn how to apply what they have learned in college with practical application in classrooms. Nov 15, 2009 Susan Wigden's sequel to her popular children's book "Suppose" has been released and available. It his a hilarious tour through a supermarket and is titled "Suppose at the Supermarket." Susan and Bruce Wigden will be interviewed on October 15, 2009 for a later television segment appearing on New York 1 The discussion will be about their mid-grade novel, "Chapter Two: The Magic in Baseball" and their main reason for writing the story.
