New Services
Tex Ware will help you build your own website. You don't need to be a Tex Ware author to use these services. See our Website web page under Publicity for examples. |
Special Projects
Tex Ware provides the ability for you to publish your own book with your own publishing company’s name. Why would you want to do this? Perhaps it is because you want your name identified with your book instead of another company. If you want to make text books or manuals for your company, then they will have your company’s name and logo. These books may be made public or kept private (private books do not require a publishing contract as they are not sold to the public and royalties are not paid).
E-books are gaining momentum as more people around the world are using computers and e-readers to read books. This is particularly good news for children’s books which are often too expensive to buy in print format. Several of our authors have e-book sales internationally. See our news
Memoirs
If your Aunt Matilda kept a diary for the past 80 years with all the family’s history, wouldn’t you want to print that and make it available to other members of your family? Your family’s favorite photos can be included. Depending on the size of your book, you could include them in color. As with special projects, the memoirs or scrapbooks could be made public or kept private (private books do not require a publishing contract as they are not sold to the public and royalties are not paid).
See Cathy Clark’s testimonial about the book we published for her dad’s 80th birthday.
Subsidy Publishing
Tex Ware Publishing has transitioned from only doing traditional book publishing and now offers subsidized publishing. The world of publishing is changing as there are over 200,000 new books published each year. Because of the volume of books available, few sell over 100 copies even when the author diligently tries to market them.
With subsidy publishing we can offer you better royalties (see our pricing page) and lower cost for books that you purchase for your own use and resale. We also provide a wider distribution for your books than can be provided for low volume sales of traditionally published books.
Subsidy publishing gives us the ability to accept authors with good books but slim chances of selling thousands of books; we will partner with you to publish your book. We interview authors to determine your goals and abilities to market your books before determining whether we will enter into a Traditional publishing contract or a Subsidy contract.
